In addition to traditional adaptive cruise control, Super Cruise sustains your selected speed and distance in reference to vehicles around you and can also take over steering and braking when needed.
How to Use Chevy Super Cruise
Super Cruise is available on more than 400,000 miles of compatible roads throughout the United States and Canada. To use Super Cruise, Adaptive Cruise Control must be on.
When Super Cruise detects you are on a compatible road, the Super Cruise symbol illuminates in white on the instrument cluster. When it is safe to activate, press the SUPER CRUISE button on the steering wheel to engage Super Cruise.
With some models, when all other driving conditions are met (example: lane markings visible, GPS available, no system faults) but your vehicle is not centered in your lane, the Super Cruise symbol lights up blue and won’t change until your vehicle is properly centered.
