Adaptive cruise control utilizes a forward-observing camera and radar technology (available in select models) to monitor vehicles you’re driving behind. This feature helps you trail the vehicle ahead of you based on the setting you select which include far, medium and near. Using this feature will decrease the need to frequently use the brakes and acceleration.

When there is no nearby traffic detected ahead of your vehicle, the adaptive cruise control system works just like standard cruise control. It will maintain your selected cruise speed, helping you to enjoy a smooth ride from start to finish. Similar to standard cruise control, adaptive cruise control uses the cruise control ON/OFF, CANCEL, SET and RESUME buttons found on the steering wheel.
