Excellent choice....

So I needed a work vehicle and based on experience with the Grand Caravan--I traded my Ram pickup in on a new Pacifica Limited. My job involved regular driving between and within 3 states. I knew Chrysler vans were comfortable and reasonably economical and could haul what my work required. At 6 foot 3 inches and 280 solid--I needed something comfortable and the Pacifica has delivered. The technology exceeds that in my Mercedes SUV and it drives comfortably and handles competently on the 20 wheels and tires. The leather interior and options make for comfortable travel regardless of weather and the safety tech is useful. In almost 13 months Ive covered 18000 miles and have had no significant problems. Gas mileage is low to mid 20s on average and highway mileage is considerably higher. I thoroughly recommend this van! The only reason I gave 9s for quality and reliability is due to owning it for 12 months and 18000 miles. - 5.0
Voyager less is more

Replaced a top of the line Yukon XL Denali 4wd with the base model Voyager L with safety package and rear AC. We have five kids four in car seats and one in a booster. The car seats fit better and there is more hip room than the full size SUV. Overall the interior has more useable space. Even though this is the base trim it has advantages over the higher trims that made Voyager L our preferred choice. The second row bench is only available in the base model, it is much easier loading, unloading, buckling, and unbuckling kids in the third row with the passenger side space the second row bench gives you. The second row bench also allows the front passenger seat to be all the way back without causing a tight squeeze for an adult loading and unloading the kids in the back. Additionally the second row bench allows the headrests to be removed whereas the captains chairs do not. Headrest removal is a requirement for some child seat installations and high back boosters, the car seats we have in those spots require the headrests removed. The console between the front seats is low to the floor and still allows easy passage to the back unlike the tall center consoles of the higher trims. The console is simple and well laid out without any unnecessary moving parts or covers to deal with when under way to access anything. The lack of stow and go in the second row bench area isn’t missed at all. With car seats installed we are not planning on using stow and go at all. Furthermore with weather tech floor liners to keep five children from messing up the interior beyond what could be kept clean the storage bins second row stow and go would come with would be inaccessible anyway. The vacuum available in the higher trims isn’t worth the storage bins you lose in the cargo area to have it. You can always keep a handheld vacuum anywhere, or a small dust brush with floor liners. We don’t miss the heated and cooled seats the Denali had because it is completely unnecessary with cloth seats, cloth is completely underrated for its temperature stability, the newer cloths clean easily too. The complete lack of power doors make it simple for children to operate intuitively at the school drop off and pick lines, also store employees aren’t trying to force closed a power hatch by hand at curb side pickup, which was a issue when we had the power lift gate on the Denali leading to trouble and costly repair with it. The rear storage behind the third row is far more spacious than a Honda Odyssey we had before the Denali and because of vertical height available, from the deep third row stow and go well, more useable space than the big Yukon. The dash is uncluttered and easy to use. The standard U-Connect works great with our IPhones. The lack of Navigation and SiriusXM isn’t even noticed because the CarPlay app lets you use Google maps and the Sirius app or other music apps easily. The Siri integration is great for audible texting and other phone functions The absence of power seats make it easier to find your spot when you trade out with your spouse there is no constant hunting for where you liked it as with power seats. Even when we had memory seats they weren’t reliable as they were easily erased by or programmed over by mistake. Road noise is good with a quiet ride. Acceleration with the pentastar V6 feels on par to the big 420 horsepower 6.2 V8 in the Yukon XL. The steering and braking are responsive and the Voyager is a pleasure to drive with excellent forward visibility. The forward visibility is also superior to the Honda Odyssey we once had. Front passenger leg room is enormous. The manual HVAC has the advantage over automatic climate control by letting the driver control temperature and fan speed without the climate control system trying to regulate and decide in your stead what right is. We don’t have AWD or 4WD anymore like the big SUV but that isn’t missed either FWD is plenty capable for our needs and in the South, where we are, things shut down at the threat of snow anyway. The safety package is limited but gives you the most useful features like blind spot monitoring and rear parking/ back sensors. The Yukon had the forward collision sensors but they were unreliable and would go off at weird times giving a sense of unfounded panic. All in all this Voyager L is an impressive replacement to a full sized SUV, more interior room, easier to get in and out of for everyone, more comfortable ride, much better on gas. doesn’t require premium gas, and cost less than 28k versus north of 80k. The only features we miss having would be that one last car seat tether in the third row for car seat arrangement flexibility and the ability to turn on and off child locks from the drivers door as this was nice for dropping off kids at school and easily turning them back on after the kid left the vehicle. - 5.0
Sold an Odyssey

Traded in a 2016 Honda after several test drives of the new Pacifica. We were not even looking to buy a new car, just stopped in a dealer looking for something to do on a rainy evening. The handling, power, comfort and overall features were just better than the Honda at the time. We loved our Honda, until we drove the Pacifica. Like many we were brainwashed to own the Honda or Toyota, but after having the car now for 2 years I can say that it is the van to own. Recently I Drove the 2019 Odyssey, and while it is nice I think the Pacifica is just better. Plus the Pacifica is just a better looking Van. Important to note: we took it in under warranty twice, interior trim piece kept coming undone do to a smashed metal clip and rear tire developed a bubble on the sidewall. Chrysler Warranty service has been outstanding, replaced tire and fixed clip no questions asked, gave us a loaner van while they did it.
